Changing your currency
TatbiQ bills each workspace in one of six GCC currencies. You can choose your workspace's currency in Settings until your workspace makes its first real payment, after which the choice is locked so your prices and checkout always stay consistent.
Supported currencies
TatbiQ supports these currencies:
- AED - UAE Dirham
- SAR - Saudi Riyal
- QAR - Qatari Riyal
- BHD - Bahraini Dinar
- KWD - Kuwaiti Dinar
- OMR - Omani Rial
Prices show in your workspace's chosen currency everywhere you see them: the pricing page, the upgrade modal, custom credit purchases, and your billing settings. Bahraini Dinar, Kuwaiti Dinar, and Omani Rial display three decimal places instead of the usual two, matching how those currencies are processed.
Changing your currency
Select your profile avatar, open Settings, and choose the Billing section.
Look for the Currency selector next to your plan details.
Select a currency from the dropdown. Your choice is saved right away, with no separate save step.
Once your workspace's currency is locked, the selector stays visible in billing settings but is disabled, with an explanation that it can no longer be changed. See the sections below for when that happens.
When you can change your currency
You can switch freely between the supported currencies until your workspace makes its first real payment to Stripe: a subscription or credit purchase that actually charges money. As soon as that first charged payment goes through, your currency is locked permanently, so every future plan change and credit purchase stays in the same currency.
Redeeming a free credit voucher does not count as a payment and does not lock your currency. A checkout that is fully covered by a discount or trial (nothing charged) also does not lock it. You can keep changing currency after those, right up until your workspace's first charged subscription or credit purchase.
If you were already an AED subscriber
If your workspace had a paid subscription before currency selection launched, it stays permanently on AED. The currency selector still appears in billing settings, but it is disabled, and there is no way to move to a different currency later.
